A maximum of wo hundred
international delegates (from around the world NOT including China)
will be registered. There will be approximately 300 Chinese
entrepreneurs and executives at the Summit. Thus the total Summit
delegation will comprise of no more that 500 participants.
Delegate Registration Package
The
registration fee is $750.00.USD* which includes:
Four
nights of accommodation from the night of Nov 20 to Nov
23, 2004 at the Hilton Nanjing.;
Three meals per day for three days (Nov 21, 22, and 23,
2004);
Buffet dinner on Nov 20 and buffet breakfast on the departing
day, Nov 24, 2004;
Full
access to all WTMS events,
receptions and gala dinners;
Participation in the ‘Let’s Make a Deal Sessions’, ‘Business
to Business Meetings’, and
Invitation to all Cultural Events including Nanjing City
Tours.
*The
registration fee includes a 40% subsidy graciously provided
by The People’s Government of Nanjing and the World
Trade University Global Secretariat in Canada.

All participants must register on or prior to November 10,
2004.

Rules
for Registration
Incomplete Registration forms will not be processed.
Applicants
will receive confirmation of the registration either via
email or fax letters from the WTU Global Secretariat, Canada.
Only
one Applicant per form.
Please
do not mail the form, please fax it to us.
Registration fee payment can be made by bank deposit or
PayPal only.
Bank details will be sent to you once your registration form
is received.
Cancellation
Policy
Your
cancellation must be received no later than Sept.30, 2004. Refunds
(75% of the total) will not be made to participants who cancel
after this date. No refunds will be made to those who register
but do not attend. Approved refunds will be made only after
the Summit. After the deadlines you may send a substitute delegate,
however, we must be notified in writing and request for substitution
should be received no later than Oct. 30, 2004.
Responsibilities
of the Registration Applicant
All necessary travel;
All accommodation and meal
expenses beyond the above mentioned specific dates.
Medical insurance in China.
Every Applicant must have medical coverage for the duration of
the stay in China, which can be obtained from local
international travel agencies. The WTU Global Secretariat and
the People Govt. of Nanjing, China, is NOT responsible,
whatsoever, for any medical expenses incurred by the
Applicant.
Summit dress code: The Summit
is an official event and therefore the dress code is business
attire only.
Proper Visa documentation:
All applicants are responsible for obtaining the proper visa
for entry into China, in additional to having a valid
passport. Upon receipt of WTMS acceptance letters from the WTU
Global Secretariat, it is recommended to proceed as soon as
possible to the local consular office. Please bear in mind
that in many cases local consulates will require two to three
weeks to grant visas.
We urge your full attendance
at the Summit: We request that supplementary business or
leisure activities take place after the Summit proceedings.
Total and committed participation is essential in making the
WTMS a success.
How to Travel to Nanjing
We suggest
that Shanghai be the participant’s point of entry to China.
From Shanghai or Beijing, there are several direct flights to
Nanjing. In Nanjing Airport there will be a WTMS Reception Desk
in order to facilitate travel to the hotel. From Nanjing Airport
to the hotel by taxi will require no more than 30-40 minutes and
the fare is very reasonable. From Shanghai one can travel to
Nanjing by bus or train, which will take approximately two
hours.
Participants
can exchange currencies at the airport in Nanjing, Shanghai or
Beijing.
WTMS' Honorable
